Bij Weldaad Authentic Interior weten we hoe belangrijk materialen zijn. We kiezen ze uit op hun textuur, hun verhaal en de manier waarop ze de aanraking van mensenhanden verdragen. Van handgeblazen gerecycled glas tot vintage textiel dat een tweede leven krijgt en met zorg bewerkt hout: elk materiaal in onze collectie is niet gekozen voor perfectie, maar voor karakter.
Alles wat we met je delen, wordt met de hand gemaakt in kleine ateliers, waar traditionele technieken liefdevol van generatie op generatie worden doorgegeven. Deze creaties zijn niet alleen ontworpen. Ze worden gevormd, gevormd en afgewerkt met tijd, vakmanschap en heel veel ziel.

What is weldaad
At Weldaad, we believe beauty and kindness belong together. The word weldaad means a good deed, and that spirit lives not only in our name but in the way we work. It shows in the care we give our customers, in the collaborations we build with makers around the world, and in the small steps we take to reduce our footprint. For us, a truly well-made piece carries more than craftsmanship. It carries intention. And maybe even a little goodness too.

When did we start
Weldaad Authentic Interior was founded by Mirjam Verheijke, born and raised in Amsterdam. Her journey started in 1992 with a floral decoration studio for events and hotels. By adding colour, texture, and atmosphere, her love for creating warm, characterful interiors kept on growing. In 2002, she transformed her florist studio into Brocante Weldaad, a boutique filled with vintage finds and decorative pieces, each chosen for its authenticity and charm.

How did we start
What began with antiques and vintage treasures has since grown into a refined collection of handcrafted interiors. In 2017, Mirjam took the next step and launched her own production line, designing original pieces that honour traditional craftsmanship while blending beautifully into contemporary spaces.
